About Nick

A welcoming, respectful space for recovery and change.

Nick is a Substance Abuse Counselor in Training who works with adults navigating substance use concerns, recovery, and co-occurring emotional challenges. His approach is person-centered, trauma-informed, and grounded in meeting people with dignity rather than judgment.

He has experience facilitating individual and group counseling, completing intake and engagement conversations, and supporting topics such as relapse prevention, coping skills, motivation, trauma awareness, and everyday life skills. He draws from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and motivational interviewing while tailoring care to each person’s strengths, goals, and stage of recovery.

Nick is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Community Psychology. Before entering behavioral health, he built a career in writing and communications—experience that continues to shape his ability to listen closely, make complex ideas approachable, and honor the story each person brings.

Through collaboration, clear communication, and a welcoming therapeutic relationship, Nick strives to help clients feel respected, understood, and supported as they build a recovery path that fits their lives.
